Kristin joined Havener Capital Partners in January of 2022 as the firm’s Growth Strategist. For current asset manager clients at Havener Capital Partners, Kristin spearheads strategy execution and the client experience. For Havener’s prospective clients, she works with them to understand their growth plan, marketing needs, and how HCP’s unique process can help them achieve their goals.

Whether a current or prospective client, Kristin believes the best part of her job is being able to dive into the stories of boutique asset managers that are changing the game.  The fearless ones that know the best assets are the ones that value not just returns, but impact. The ones that boldly break away from “The Bigs” to chart their own course. Kristin understands these types of clients because she followed the same path.

Prior to joining Havener, Kristin spent 13 years with U.S. Trust of Bank of America, now known as the Private Bank of Bank of America. Kristin began her career with the firm as a marketing strategist where she was responsible for a variety of business development strategies, from team-specific projects to national campaigns. Having proven to have exceptional relationship-building skills, Kristin was promoted to a Private Client Advisor role, and at the time, was the youngest female to be hired into the role. As a PCA, Kristin was responsible for new client acquisition and relationship deepening within her current client portfolios. Together with a team of wealth management specialists, Kristin managed over $1B in assets for individuals, families, foundations, and endowments.

Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Risk Management from Virginia Tech. Go Hokies! When she is not working or chauffeuring her two very active children to/from games, practices, etc., Kristin can be found volunteering on boards and committees for a variety of charitable organizations in Newport or, if the season agrees, enjoying the ocean, by boat or by beach.
