We help our clients grow their businesses by using storytelling and content marketing to connect them with their ideal investors. Having raised billions for boutiques, we are a small (under 20 employees) but mighty agency. We are headquartered in Newport, RI.

    Who You Are

    You believe in the power of personal brands, especially for founders who give their companies a face, heart, and soul. You can write in any clients’ voice and tone and quickly switch gears to create compelling graphics in Canva too. You're ready to build clients an aligned network on LinkedIn to help them meet KPIs and achieve their goals.  

    Primary Responsibilities

    Optimize LinkedIn Profiles and Strategy 

    • Evaluate and enhance LinkedIn profiles to align with brand goals  

    • Stay ahead of LinkedIn algorithm changes and trends, ensuring content remains optimized and relevant 

    • Execute data-driven strategies to grow followers, increase engagement, and generate meaningful connections for clients 

    Create and Engage with LinkedIn Posts 

    • Ghostwrite thought-leadership-focused LinkedIn posts tailored to the voices of investment boutique founders and fund managers 

    • Select photos; design on-brand graphics and carousels, create video clips to complement written content 

    • Manage scheduling and publishing of posts 

    • Ghostwrite-reply to comments during posting golden hour 

    • Ghostwrite-comment on posts of industry leaders and clients’ prospects  

    Collaborate with Team and Clients 

    • Collaborate with Havener’s Marketing team and Havener’s clients (investment boutique founders and fund managers) to understand goals, brand voice, and audience 

    Analytics and Reporting 

    • Monitor LinkedIn analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement  

    • Prepare reports on key metrics  

    Qualifications & Characteristics

    • 1+ year of experience creating LinkedIn posts with analytics that prove growth 

    • Deep understanding of LinkedIn’s platform, algorithms, and best practices 

    • Proven ability to: 

    • Write clearly and concisely with excellent grammar and proof-reading skills  

    • Nail voice and tone for others 

    • Create graphics and videos for LinkedIn 

    • Evaluate LinkedIn analytics and improve strategy 

    • Work with executives   

    • Superb time management skills; deadline-oriented  

    • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and can-do attitude  

    • Experience working with clients in finance or investments a plus.

    Who You Are

    You are a numbers wiz, a spreadsheet ninja, a fan of tech that makes life easier. You like things organized and simple – even if they are complex at their core. You understand the importance of using past data to inform future decisions. You make dollars make sense.  You are our Accounting Manager, reporting to the CEO’s office. Your position is responsible for the execution, supervision, and monitoring of the day-to-day activities in the Accounting & HR Departments but you know that really means… you strive to improve profit while helping your team sleep well at night.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Prepare month end close and financial statements with all related schedules

    Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeper and other admin support

    Manage and maintain the general ledger

    Prepare annual budget and forecast w/ outsourced CFO and external CPA

    Prepare the monthly comparison between budget and actuals; analyze deviations to help management take the right action

    Oversee bi-weekly cash forecast and monitor cash accounts

    Review all bank reconciliations for accuracy

    Maintain accurate, up-to-date accrual reporting in Quickbooks

    Calculate monthly/quarterly commissions

    Monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting and filing

    Oversee ADP and monitor platform with all updates to HR & Payroll information

    Review and maintain all payroll changes such as salaries, tax setup, benefits, etc

    Execute bi-weekly payroll and check wage and tax reports for accuracy

    Execute monthly expense reimbursements

    Post payroll journal entries to accounting system

    Oversee 401K plan and assist with annual review of medical plan

    Assist with the annual review/renewal of all commercial insurance

    Other projects as assigned

    Qualifications & Characteristics

    Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting required

    3+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis

    Good computer proficiency in all Microsoft applications

    Experience with Quickbooks accounting software required and Expensify a +

    Payroll and Human Resource experience

    Exceptional people skills, the ability to create and maintain productive work relationships with people who are not used to working with finance teams.

    Ability to manage fast-paced work processes and thrive in a dynamic and growing organization with lean structure.

    Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills but also willing to do the work (not just think about the work)

    Self -driven with ability to multi-task in a deadlines-oriented environment

    Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for digitizing/automating/standardizing processes

    Demonstrates initiative and creativity in achieving results

    Comfortable with accountability and KPIs

    Good sense of humor
